The primary goal of this course is to equip you with the knowledge and strategies needed to effectively prepare for the open book NICET certification test. Our focus will be on:
- Demonstrating how to utilize various strategies for test preparation.
- Encouraging the application of critical thinking and methodologies.
- Guiding you on how to use the reference book efficiently during the test.
Please note that this course is designed to provide information and techniques for test preparation only. It does not include technical content. For in-depth technical training, please refer to the comprehensive technical classes available in the FED Learning Center course library.
Toward the end of this course, you will encounter a few practical questions. These are designed to give you an opportunity to apply the strategies you’ve learned and to practice finding answers using the reference book. It’s strongly advised to have the reference material with you, such as NFPA 70 and NFPA 72, so you can pause and follow along with the examples being shown.
We hope this course will help you feel confident and prepared as you approach your certification test.
