The FED Learning Center has partnered with Amerex to provide certified Kitchen Protection (KP™) Suppression System training. This training is open to both Amerex and Non-Amerex Kitchen system distributors and is recommended for anyone who is servicing Amerex Systems.

Master the Installation of the Amerex Kitchen Protection (KP) Fire Suppression System.
The Amerex Kitchen Protection (KP™) Fire Suppression System is trusted in commercial kitchens worldwide for its reliability and performance. This training class equips technicians and installers with the knowledge and skills needed to confidently install and configure the KP system to meet a variety of kitchen layouts and hazard types.

Objectives:

  • Understand the difference between zone defense and appliance-specific coverage—and when to use each.
  • Explore the benefits of the Amerex Strike electronic detection and activation system.
  • Discover the advantages of a stored pressure system for streamlined maintenance and performance.

Requirements:

  • Students must also have an Amerex Portal account. Any new Amerex users that don’t have one, please click this link and register: https://training.amerex-fire.com/register. Use account “FEDLC125” as the account number when registering. This Amerex Portal account is only for enrollment purposes.
  • OEM Certification will be provided after the 2 day course is complete based on Amerex’s discretion as well as the successful passing of the end of course test.
